Our services

Second chances is a right - not a privilege

At Giving Second Chances Foundation, we are committed to transforming lives and restoring dignity to individuals who have been marginalized or overlooked. Our work focuses on empowering those who need a fresh start—whether they are prisoners held for minor offenses, single mothers struggling to provide for their families, or young people searching for direction.

Through targeted programs in prison rehabilitation and reintegration, support for single mothers, youth mentorship, and more, we provide practical assistance, emotional support, and sustainable solutions. From paying minor fines to offering vocational training, we ensure each person we help is not just set free, but set up for a better future.

Prison rehabilitation & Integration

Overview: Prison rehabilitation & Integration

At Giving Second Chances Foundation, we believe no one should be defined by their worst mistake—especially when that mistake is linked to poverty, injustice, or lack of access. Our Prison Rehabilitation & Reintegration program is dedicated to restoring hope and dignity to incarcerated individuals—particularly those jailed for petty offenses or unjustly imprisoned.

We don’t just get people out—we walk with them back into society.

Our Goals

Our Goals

- To facilitate the release of individuals held over minor, non-violent offenses or due to inability to pay small fines.

- To provide psychosocial support, counselling, and skill-building opportunities while in prison.

- To support reintegration through mentorship, job placement, mental health care, and community reconciliation.

- To reduce recidivism by ensuring every returnee has a clear path forward.

Key Activities

Legal Aid & Case Review: In collaboration with lawyers and rights groups, we identify and support inmates wrongfully detained or held for petty crimes.

Paying Minor Bail/Fines: Through donations, we pay off minor fines and enable the release of qualifying inmates.

In-Prison Rehabilitation: We provide soft skills training, counselling, and personal development sessions inside selected correctional facilities.

Post-Prison Support: Once released, beneficiaries receive reintegration kits, vocational referrals, housing aid, and continuous mentorship.

Family Reconnection: We work to reconnect released inmates with their families and offer reconciliation counselling where necessary.

Support for Single Mothers

Overview : Support for Single Mothers

At Giving Second Chances Foundation, we understand the immense weight single mothers carry—raising children, navigating economic hardships, and often facing deep societal stigma. Many single mothers did not choose their situation, yet they rise daily to protect and provide. Our Support for Single Mothers program is designed to empower, uplift, and guide these women toward stability, independence, and dignity.

We don't just offer aid—we invest in transformation.

Our Goals

Our Goals

- To provide emotional and mental health support to single mothers facing trauma, abandonment, or abuse.

- To equip them with vocational and business skills for sustainable income generation.

Youth Mentorship & Empowerment

Overview : Youth mentorship and Empowerment

At Giving Second Chances Foundation, we believe that empowering young people is one of the most effective ways to shape a better future. Sadly, many youths today face broken homes, lack of guidance, poverty, peer pressure, and social stigma—leaving them vulnerable to crime, exploitation, or self-doubt.

Our Youth Mentorship & Empowerment program is designed to guide, equip, and inspire vulnerable young people to rediscover purpose and chase opportunity.

We don't just mentor—we walk with them into their second chance.

Our Goals

Our Goals

- To mentor and guide at-risk youth toward positive life choices.

- To provide life skills and vocational training that prepare them for adulthood.

- To connect youth with opportunities in education, business, and employment.

- To raise a generation of peer mentors who can pay it forward to others.

One-on-One Mentorship: Pairing each youth with a mentor in their area of need (business, life skills, academics).
